Company/Client Overview:
Our product helps companies build their own referral programs (no coding required), we also help them track their referrals and issue rewards. This role would be working directly with the founder, who has 10+ years experience growing/marketing startups and brands. You’ll also be working with another SEO / ads specialist as we’re hiring that role alongside this one.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic Content Manager to lead our content creation efforts. We create content for YouTube, Blog, Facebook, Courses, Ebooks, Social Media, and even design and build free tools. . This mid-senior level role requires a creative, internet-savvy professional who is comfortable with AI tools and has a knack for producing engaging, brand-aligned content. Strong writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to think quickly and adapt to trends in the digital landscape.
- Take over execution of the content strategy that is already in place - in time you would take over the strategy part too, but initially the duties require you to work with the founder to roll out a large branding campaign that is already in play.
- Brief, oversee and manage a freelance writer, a designer, and a videographer to ensure quality and timely content delivery You’ll also be making content to top up where needed, so you should be familiar with tools like Canva or Figma.
- Create, edit, and publish original content across multiple platforms, including blogs, social media, email, and more. We’ll need more content than we have budget to outsource - so you should be comfortable creating :)
- Help us create a referral marketing course (this is a project you’ll do with the founder)
- Manage the company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.), ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging with followers.
- Send two monthly mailers - one focussed on product announcements, another on education around referral marketing.
- Help grow our referral and affiliate programs.
- Use AI tools and other tech solutions to streamline content creation, optimize efficiency, and enhance creativity.
- Create new ad creative for our PPC specialist when needed. Stay up to date with the latest digital and social media trends, ensuring our content remains fresh and relevant.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content supports SEO campaigns and business initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in content creation, brand management, or social media management.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to craft content that engages and resonates with the target audience.
- Experience managing freelance writers or creative teams.
- Proficient with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.) and any scheduling tools.
- Proficient with visual tools like Canva or Figma.
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to adopt and learn new AI tools to enhance content creation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
