**About the role**:

- You will be joining the Performance team in a mid-level position.
- You will work on a diverse range of clients, delivering measurable return on investment.
- You will work alongside other Performance team members, developers, social media managers and content writers to optimise the online presence of these clients.
- To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of SEO and Google Ads.
- This is a remote role in South Africa.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete Technical SEO Audits, Competitor Gap Analyses (On-Site & Off-Site), UX Audits and Google Ads Account Audits and provide recommendations thereof.
- Devise and implement SEO (on-site and offsite) and Google Ads strategies to help our clients achieve their organic and paid goals
- Conducting keyword research, optimise website content and structure including title tags and descriptions, internal linking, architecture, and other technical factors and implementation thereof to improve rankings for target keywords
- Monitoring Google Ads campaign performance and adjusting optimise campaign performance
- Write compelling Google Ads ad copy
- Setting up and managing campaign budgets and bids
- Monitoring, compile and communicate reports with recommendations to improve client ROI and deliver value
- Have a strong understanding of international SEO best practices
- Keep pace with industry trends and developments specific to SEO and Google Ads
- Research and evaluate new technology trends and identify new campaign optimization opportunities and present to team
- Complete tasks in line with priorities and due dates set out by Success Team and assist with tasks assigned by Team Leader & HoD
- Assist in answering technical questions asked by Success Team to develop understanding and knowledge of services rendered
- Attend technical client meetings, strategy presentations and status updates

**Attributes & Requirements**:

- Your own laptop/desktop computer that meets minimum specifications as defined by Employment Contract
- Experience with tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio & Google Tag Manager
- Have proven knowledge of various backlinking methods.
- Passion for digital marketing and strong technical SEO experience
- Curiosity about anything and everything SEO and Google Ads
- You have proven experience in delivering performance orientated search engine optimisation
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Awesome organisational skills
- A willingness to take ownership of the work
- Strong work ethic and self-starter
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Excel/Google Sheets)
- Ability and passion to educate and share industry knowledge with less experienced team members
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects

**Education**:
Tertiary qualification in marketing AND minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience.
