We're seeking passionate and motivated
Fundraising Officers / Grant Writers
to join our volunteer team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, proposal writing, and donor engagement — while contributing to real climate and community impact.


Role Overview

As a volunteer Fundraising Officer, you'll support Kwedu in identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and building partnerships that sustain our climate and youth programmes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research donor and partnership opportunities
  • Develop grant applications and concept notes
  • Support the team in proposal writing and fundraising strategy
  • Draft donor communication and impact reports
  • Participate in online donor engagement events and campaigns


We're Looking For

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Interest or experience in fundraising or development work
  • Passion for sustainability, youth empowerment, and innovation
  • Organized, proactive, and collaborative mindset
