The Opportunity: Adcorp PMI Business Development Consultant
The Business Development Consultant's core purpose is to generate new business and grow existing clients through innovative solution offerings.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Client Development & Validation
- Identify and validate new client opportunities aligned to business objectives.
- Develop and present tailored proposals that meet client needs and brand standards.
- Secure client approval and ensure alignment before project handover.
2. Financial Management
- Negotiate business terms and formalize them in Service Level Agreements.
- Coordinate invoicing, PO processes, and new client account setup with finance.
- Monitor payment terms and ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets.
3. Customer Service & Delivery Support
- Brief operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee client reporting and maintain high delivery standards.
- Proactively manage client expectations and resolve service challenges.
4. Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update the sales pipeline weekly.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on sales, pipeline, and client activity.
- Ensure all administrative processes comply with internal policies.
5. Post-Sales Relationship Management
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships to drive retention.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth.
- Reinforce ATS's value proposition and differentiation through regular engagement.
6. Marketing & Market Intelligence
- Research and report on market trends, competitors, and customer insights.
- Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Share market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
Desired Experience & Qualification
At least 2-3 years or more sales experience
Must have Higher Education sales in Training & Development space
- Matric , Diploma or equivalent with sales and or marketing/management/SDF advantageous
