Accounts and Admin Controller
to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth financial administration, accurate record-keeping, and effective support for management across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day financial administration, including capturing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with VAT submissions, tax compliance, and preparation of audit documentation.
- Provide regular financial and operational reporting to management.
- Maintain accurate company records, contracts, and filing systems.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
- Support payroll administration and HR record-keeping.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (suppliers, auditors, banks, SARS, etc.) when required.
- Assist the Operations Director and management team with administrative and operational projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years' experience in financial administration, office management, or similar.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential) and accounting software
Proficiency in Xero
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in the hospitality, property, or real estate industry is advantageous.
