As we expand into South Africa, we are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Sales Specialist to lead our B2C market entry and growth strategy.Role Summary:As a Senior Sales Specialist (B2C) in South Africa, you will be the first hire in the sales team, playing a key role in launching iMile's B2C logistics services in the country for the E-commerce Industry. This includes identifying new business opportunities, acquiring e-commerce clients (local and international), and driving volume for cross-border and domestic last-mile delivery.You will serve as a key player in establishing iMile's footprint in a new market, building strong client relationships, and contributing directly to revenue generation and strategic market development.A. Key Responsibilities:1. Market Development:-> Lead the B2C sales strategy for South Africa, focusing on acquiring key local and international e-commerce clients.-> Research and map the local e-commerce landscape and logistics opportunities.-> Identify potential partners, platforms, and marketplaces to drive volume.2. Client Acquisition & Management:-> Build and manage a pipeline of prospective B2C clients.-> Negotiate contracts and close deals with online retailers, platforms, and SMEs.-> Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure growth and retention.3. Cross-border Sales:-> Identify and onboard international e-commerce brands looking to expand into South Africa.-> Collaborate with internal teams to enable seamless cross-border delivery solutions.4. Sales Execution & Reporting:-> Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.-> Track KPIs and performance metrics, reporting progress to the regional team.-> Provide regular market intelligence and feedback to refine offerings.5. Collaboration:-> Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence.-> Partner with marketing and product teams to tailor logistics solutions for the South African market.B. Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.2. Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain.3. Strong understanding of the South African e-commerce and logistics landscape.4. Proven track record in business development and closing high-value deals.5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.6. Experience with international logistics or cross-border e-commerce is a strong advantage.7.
