**Your day at NTT DATA**
As a Senior DATA Center Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be an expert in the DATA center technology domain, working directly with clients to identify new opportunities and present solutions that meet their needs. You'll pursue and land qualified leads identified by our Client Management team and other respective teams, overseeing the entire sales process from start to finish. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base.

Your days will be filled with engaging and meaningful conversations about our products and services, leveraging your in-depth knowledge to support the closure of sales. You will be responsible for addressing conceptual technology challenges and staying aware of the competitive landscape, market pricing, and strategies to penetrate new markets. As a key contributor, you'll share best practices and experiences to enhance our solutions and services.

Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing clients is crucial in this role. You will work closely with relevant technology vendors, ensuring a deep understanding of their solutions to effectively incorporate them into our offerings. Your ability to articulate the required solutions and deliver impactful presentations and workshops will help secure deals that align with clients' business goals.

You will collaboratively support the sales process, working hand-in-hand with client managers and pre-sales architects to create the best solution designs. Using sales methodologies and tools, you will develop and implement opportunity plans, provide regular check-ins with primary contacts, and ensure buy-in from all stakeholders, ultimately driving successful closures and achieving your sales targets.

**To thrive in this role, you need to have**:

- Extensive sales experience in a technology or services environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
- Expertise in developing and nurturing meaningful customer relationships up to senior leadership levels.
- Proficiency in delivering engaging and persuasive sales presentations.
- Ability to define and execute sales strategies with seasoned sales solution capabilities.
- Advanced negotiation skills for crafting beneficial solutions for all parties involved.
- Advanced team selling approach and collaboration skills.
- Client-centric approach to understanding customer problems and providing best-fit solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems, sales, or a related field.
- Industry/Vendor sales certifications required.
