This is a
6-month full-time paid internship
. During this time, you'll receive hands-on training, personal development, and real-world experience. And if you excel, there's a clear path to grow into a
full-time Sales Development Associate
role with an established career pathway.
What You'll Do
Drive Sales (with Purpose)
• Engage with prospective candidates across Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, and Technology sectors to introduce Impel Talent's mission and services.
• Conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to spark genuine conversations — not just follow scripts.
• Present and promote our
leadership development programs
and
Impel Connect
platform ) to help professionals grow their careers.
• Qualify leads by understanding their goals, challenges, and aspirations — connecting them with the right opportunities or products.
• Collaborate closely with senior recruiters and account managers to support live projects and client engagements.
• Assist the team through the full recruitment process — from interview to offer — including market mapping, adding candidates to our database, advert writing, search design, and lead generation.
Build Relationships
• Be the first point of contact for candidates — guiding them with empathy and curiosity.
• Maintain accurate records and track all interactions in our CRM system.
• Follow up with candidates and clients to ensure a smooth experience from first contact to placement or onboarding.
• Help create community engagement by sharing updates, success stories, and insights through
Impel Connect
and our social channels.
What You'll Bring
• 0–2 years' experience in sales, recruitment, HR, or a related field
• Confident communicator – you enjoy talking to people and building real connections
• Naturally curious – you ask great questions and love learning about people's stories
• Empathetic and people-focused – you genuinely care about helping others succeed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and reliable – you manage your time well and follow through on commitments
• Tech-savvy – comfortable using tools like LinkedIn, HubSpot/CRM systems, and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
• Creative thinker – you enjoy finding new ways to connect with people and share ideas
• A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
