IT Desktop Support Technician – Wynberg, Cape Town

Responsibilities:

  • Providing desktop support for users, including hardware, software, printers, cabling, and operating systems, managing desk tickets etc
  • Monitor and troubleshoot store level backups, resolve and escalate where necessary
  • Record , track and liaise with all staff in line with SLA

Required Qualification:

  • Grade 12 plus certifications such as A+, N+, or MCDST (or working toward them).

Required Experience:

  • At least
    5 years' hands-on experience
    in desktop support and service desk environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (2010–11) and Windows Server (2012–22).
  • Experience with backup software (Veeam), remote support, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of networks, Citrix, and cabling.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to provide after-hours and remote support when required.
