Collections Strategy Manager

This role is for someone who lives for strategy, data, and making the numbers climb, not someone who wants to babysit processes that should've been automated years ago.

You'll be joining a forward-thinking financial services environment that actually listens when you say, "We can do this smarter". Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of a full collections strategy across the credit life cycle, from modelling to monitoring.
  • Build, optimize and document models, portfolio insights, campaign plans and champion/challenger tests.
  • Analyze risk, drive forecasting, manage scorecards, automate reporting, and make sure dashboards actually make sense.
  • Partner with operations and data teams to turn insights into real results, higher collections, better recoveries, lower cost to collect.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Honours Degree or equivalent - BCom (Maths, Stats, or Economics), Actuarial Science or any similar analytical field.
  • 5+ years in a similar analytics/collections/credit strategy type role.
  • Strong exposure to financial services or banking (advantageous but not a dealbreaker).
  • SQL, R, Python, AWS, and advanced Excel - you need to be comfortable building, breaking, and improving.
  • Strong analytical and modelling experience.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to people who don't speak "data".
  • Strategic thinker with a solid track record of improving collections, reducing roll rates, and boosting portfolio performance.
