About the Role

We are seeking experienced Deal Executives to join a fast-paced UK-based digital retail e-commerce company operating in South Africa. This role is ideal for highly organized, analytical professionals with a background in e-commerce or retail operations and at least three years of experience in a similar role.

Successful candidates will play a crucial role in managing deal approvals, ensuring compliance, and optimizing stock levels to maximize revenue. We encourage you to apply if you have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced online business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Review & Approval: Assess and approve deals to ensure merchants meet quality standards and pricing requirements.
  • Market Competitiveness: Verify that deals offer the best value in the market and align with internal profit margins.
  • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the sales team to ensure all deals are ready to go live on the platform.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Conduct compliance checks to confirm that deal pricing and discount claims adhere to regulations.
  • Merchant Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring merchant performance and recommending action plans for underperforming merchants.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on deal approvals, merchant quality, and overall business impact.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role within retail, e-commerce, or a related industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with reporting tools and data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for e-commerce and online retail, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
