The Role

We're looking for an Account Executive who loves conversation, curiosity, and solving real problems. You'll be the first impression for many of our clients — and the person who helps them see the value in what we do.

This is a hands-on role — you'll be doing outreach, running discovery calls, delivering demos, negotiating deals, and supporting smooth onboarding with the team.

You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success — collaboration is the game here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients in thoughtful, personalised ways.
  • Run meaningful discovery conversations to understand hiring challenges.
  • Deliver product demos that clearly show value (no feature overload).
  • Negotiate deals that balance customer needs and business goals.
  • Hand clients over smoothly to Customer Success for onboarding and long-term growth.
  • Keep your pipeline structured and visible in our CRM.
  • Share customer insights with the team to help shape product & process evolution.
  • Build relationships that lead to renewal, referral, and trust.

About You

You're someone who likes people — genuinely. You listen. You ask good questions. You connect.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Experience: Have 3+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS / HR tech / marketplaces = bonus).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstratable history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SaaS products and understanding of cloud-based solutions.
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in using CRM tools like Pipedrive, Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar platforms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the South Africa B2B market and the challenges faced by businesses with the region.
  • Prefer progress over perfection — test → learn → refine.
  • Enjoy building rather than inheriting a perfect system (we're in motion ).
