**Operations and Admin Coordinator (Cape Town - Hybrid)**

Mason is seeking a dynamic talent to join one of portfolio companies, which operates in the consumer retail sector in South Africa. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a supplier of hair care and other consumer goods in South Africa, with expansion plans on the horizon.

**Position Overview**:
As the Operations and Admin Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in streamlining inventory control procedures and fostering administrative effectiveness. Collaborating closely with diverse teams across the organization, you'll contribute to improving operational efficiency and internal workflows.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate inventory records and optimal stock levels.
- Facilitate regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory trends to inform procurement decisions and minimize stockouts.
- Assist with the management of relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and managing calendars.
- Manage inquiries from clients, suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices and other documentation, including filing systems and databases.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals and other documents.
- Collaborating with the team to implement and maintain efficient systems and processes.
- Generating and delivering comprehensive reports to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Demonstrating proficiency in basic finance and accounting with the support and guidance of the team.
- Support tasks and projects as needed to ensure smooth operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory management, administration and operations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
