- As a Hosted Services Infrastructure Specialist, you will lead the infrastructure team in planning, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring the hosted infrastructure while running projects and serving as an 3rd line escalation point for problem resolution. This includes performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery, and performance tuning for hosted services (IT Infrastructure Data Center).**Job description**
- Set up and manage the technical infrastructure (SaaS Platforms) of our customers.
- Take care of the implementation and handling of changes and solving disruptions and escalations
- Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of divisional scope and complexity
- Contributes to the completion of technical tasks or projects. Failure to achieve results would typically result in extended network outages and could cause serious business interruptions.
- Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, infrastructure design and monitoring.
- Conduct extreme complex technical evaluation and suggest proposed physical architectures along with detailed designs.
- Analyse problems, evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, modify, integrate, monitor and ensure to automate software systems.
- Configure complex and visible integration aspects like database connectivity to attain business requirements.
- Execute technology successfully by mínimal downtime as well as disruption.
- Write infrastructure related scripts to automate all manual tasks plus streamline operational activities.
- Involve actively in teams of cross functional project to assist solve problems inclusive of different technologies straddling multiple work groups.
- Conduct complex technical evaluation, design review and recommend proposed physical and logical designs

**Minimum requirements**

**Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- BTech/BA Honours in IT or equivalent
- Technically Certified in one of the following disciplines: Network Infrastructure, IT Security, Windows/Linux Servers, Cloud Technology
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within IT Infrastructure Data Center Support
- Extensive experience in the design, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure, covering the following: DNS, AD, GPOs, DHCP, Firewall, AV, Operating Systems, WSUS, VMWare, FTP, Servers, SAN Storage, Oracle/MS SQL Databases, Backup Solution, ISP (VPN, Switches, Hubs, Routers, Cabling etc).
- Understanding of the following architecture models: Client/Server (LAN/WAN), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Advantages if you are familiar with Hospitality industry, including the following Oracle product systems: MyMicros, Res 3700, Simphony, Opera etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of IT Automation/Scripting for information extraction and reporting
