You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, high-performance infrastructure platforms, managing vendors and service providers, and driving continuous improvement across our IT environment.This role includes ownership of infrastructure strategy, disaster recovery readiness, performance optimisation, and technical leadership to ensure stability, availability, and capacity across systems.Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the infrastructure team in resolving daily incidents, requests, and escalationsManage relationships with third-party suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless service deliveryDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures to improve scalability, reliability, and performanceDiagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues efficientlyOversee disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuityPlan and manage system installations, upgrades, and migrations across infrastructure platformsEnsure that database environments support business needs and perform optimallyMonitor system capacity and performance, producing relevant reporting and insightsDrive continuous improvement and ensure strong governance across infrastructure servicesProvide team leadership, guidance, and performance management for infrastructure staffJob Experience and Skills Required:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related fieldCertifications in relevant IT infrastructure technologies (e.g., VMware, Storage/Backup Solutions, Microsoft, and Networking)7+ years' experience in infrastructure, data centre, hosting, and storage management5+ years experience working with VMware technologies5+ years in backup and recovery environments5+ years experience of third-party/vendor management 3+ years people management and team leadership experienceApply now
