**SALES MANAGER - KZN**

This position will report to the KZN Regional Executive and will be expected to provide the full range of brand related sales and business development functions.
**Criteria required to be considered for this role are**:
- A relevant Degree
- 5- 10 years experience in a similar position (Sales and Management role)
- Own reliable car with a valid SA drivers license
- Extensive experience in the management of a large sales force
- Ability to lead a team, yet work independently and flexibly
- Ability to performance manage
- Ability to think strategically, optimise opportunities and have ability to translate such into operational plans.
- Ability to manage budgets in order to reach financial targets
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Energetic, creative, innovative and enthusiastic
- Entrepreneurial thinker
- Excellent command of the English language
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite with above average Excel skills
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage and set performance targets for Regional Sales Management and Consultants
- Devise and implement a regional sales strategy in the office product industry, in line with the overall business strategy
- Achieve annual sales growth targets and profit margins
- Maximise publicity, oversee online and offline sales activity and measure effectiveness of promotions and sales material
- Build strategic business partnerships with key client and engage with other stakeholders
- Liaise and negotiate at a senior level with existing and potential key clients
- Identifying additional business opportunities
- High level of literacy and numeracy, including the capacity to compile budgets and manage staff activities accordingly
- Ensure optimal stock management
- Monitor sales and distribution effects and analysis and interpret sales data
- Stay abreast of key trends in national and international markets
- Excellent co-ordination, delegation and administrative abilities
- Good conflict-handling and HR Management skills
- Good report-writing and presentation skills
- Willing to travel when required
- Drive electronic trading
