We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Product Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the APN portfolio.
The right person for this position will have previous experience as a Product Manager in the ICT/Mobile industry and be articulate, self-motivated and hungry for growth.
Requirements: Previous experience in leading a team, minimum five years’ experience as a Product Manager within the ICT/Mobile industry.

Primary purpose: The Product Manager is essentially responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The product manager’s responsibilities also include ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy, vision and goals.
Job description / core competencies:
- Develop and execute product plans together with competitive value proposition, develop a vision and roadmap for the product, based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and your own industry insight.
- Work closely with development/engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs, and ensure a consistently high-quality standard.
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Develop a forecast for the product range based on input from marketing, sales, market analysts and their own experience and manage its delivery.
- Identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and implement marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).
- Liaise with marketing to ensure the APN products are marketed according to budget, and rendering satisfactory results as measured by increased sales and leads.
- Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, ensuring that you stay up to date with the latest technologies, analyses competitors and conduct research to ensure that the product is competitive in the market.
- Perform product demos to current and new clients, whilst also focusing on developing relationships with clients, with the aim of continually improving client satisfaction.
- Monitor, report and improve product performance.
- Run trials and MVP’s (minimum viable product), arrange, and attend market launches, ICT events/exhibitions, etc.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure the product is managed, supported, and maintained.
- Promote the product and train the sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other mechanisms.
- Collate feedback from sales and clients and report to senior management.
- Represent the voice of the customer in senior-level management meetings.
- Be recognized as a leader in the business and build relations with business stakeholders.
- Deliver a regular (e.g., monthly) volume, revenue, and profit forecast.
- Build and manage account managers/sales reps within the APN department, ensuring training is provided, revenue targets met, and a high level of client satisfaction is maintained.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience as a product manager in the industry.
- In-depth technical aptitude and understanding.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful track record of developing products within required deadlines, meeting required sales targets, and increasing revenue within the product range.
- Previous experience in leading a team is highly advantageous, as the Product and sales grow within the company, so will the Product Manager’s team of personnel.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative and innovative thinker.
- Understand the market and competitive trends; monitor key industry developments.
- Ensure excellent communication amongst clients, and internal departments, continually providing the required feedback and ensuring progress reports are kept up to date.
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent products.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate previous success within the same or similar role.
