The above-mentioned vacancy exists at VOMS INDUSTRIAL in Linbro Park, Johannesburg. We require the services of an experienced SalesManager in the Motor Industry with a proven track record in the sale of a broad range of reconditioned commercial vehicle components (Heavy Duty, Medium and Light Commercial Vehicles) including the retreading of tyres. Knowledge of tyre retreading. Knowledge of brake friction materials and brake refurbishment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal applicant will possess the following: - _ Matric or equivalent qualification..8 years proven Sales experience in truck/bus remanufactured component industry. Sound knowledge of tyre retreading and brake refurbishment. Database of clients/customers. Computer Literate. Excellent client. communication skills. Valid driver’s license.
JOB OUTPUTS: Achieves sales targets (weekly, monthly, annually) and compile weekly and monthly sales reports for current activities and sales forecasts for the next period. Maintain and update sales plan. Maintains effective relationships with customers, staff, colleagues and other Stakeholders. Supports cross-functional departments/business initiatives for continuous improvement. Prospects, compiles quotes and closes sales. Identifying and establishing contact with potential customers proactively. Maintaining contact with new and existing customers to advertise the product sales and deliver a detailed account strategy. Responds to sales enquiries from new and existing customers. Delivering presentations of the company products at industry meetings, customer groups etc. Meeting annual sales goals and targets. Maintaining the company’s contact database management with up to date contact, accurate and activity details. Produces monthly sales reports. Providing feedback of potential customers and members to enhance product functioning and the service delivery. Ensuring effective internal communication with Sales and Workshops.
