Core Description
The role is responsible to oversee the achievement of the business unit’s new business target by managing various levels client relationships, industry partnerships, suppliers and internal teams for new business and channel development for deal creation, negotiation and winning, with BCX CSO and alternative channels. The role must set up and manage a high-performance division. This includes channel design, targeting, ongoing performance management via weekly cadence and reporting, client and deal allocation, and ensuring won and contracted deals are handed to business areas for execution and billing. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

**Business Development The Executive**: Business Development Manager (EBDM) is responsible to setup and manage the business unit’s business development division, which is responsible for the achievement of the business unit’s new business and revenue annuity goals by maintaining a high velocity deal pipeline with good cover and high conversion rate from new and existing clients across all the business areas within the business unit The EBDM empowers MANCO and EXCO with client and market insight to assist with strategic leadership targeting and influencing. The EBDM ensures alignment of business development selling activities within the company strategy by leading, motivating and managing an efficient channel and business development team for the respective business areas. The EBDM ensures adequate coverage and vertical specialisation within the division, thus improving the position of trusted advisor. The EBDM reports and tracks deals and provides advisory and strategy consulting experience to BCX management and peers. Client Strategy Execution

A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience, of which 2 years is at a senior management level, preferably in the ICT industry

GR 12 then a minimum of 12 years’ experience of which at least 4 years on senior management level. Certifications / Professional Registration None Special Requirements/ Employment Condition Valid Drivers license Work Characteristics WFA /Office Based
