About the Role
To increase the Company’s profits through effective Business Development, promoting and selling ESG Services, aligning and upselling with the company’s range of FM services to create extended value and synergies for the client and BFM.

Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Sales, Energy Management, Electrical
N/A
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Valid SA Drivers’ License
Minimum 2-3 yrs relevant experience
Solid knowledge of Business Development, market trends and best practices within the energy management / environmental management / sustainability markets.
Solid knowledge of energy management, environmental and sustainability standards & acceptable practices
Solid understanding of organisational business processes and procedures
Business Development experience/exposure
Excellent Project Management & Time Management skills
Excellent Negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent administration skills
Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills
Computer Literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT & MS Outlook (Advanced skill level)

Detailed Description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
Strategic sales
Develop target client list that meets ESG targets and objectives by evaluating and understanding their ESG objectives and targets, establishing reporting measurements and criteria and service requirements. Specifically target JSE listed organisations; large corporates reporting on ESG as well as opportunities within existing contracts.
Establish relationships, meetings, presentations with targeted clients for continuous development of ESG sales pipeline.
Actively manage target list through sales cycle to meet sales targets within specific sales cycle timelines.
Meet with ESG department to develop solution and offering
Write and submit quality proposals based on thorough needs analysis performed on the client, detailing service offering and solution to meet the clients operational or strategic objectives.
Prepare highly effective presentations to client demonstrating understanding of the client’s ESG targets and objectives, BFM service solution and value proposition.
Complete assigned RFP’s to Solutions and Implementations Executives requirements and in line with bid requirements.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and sales targeting by researching and recommending new trends, new strategies and industry developments for accelerated business development and market share.
Negotiate services and commercials within specified company guidelines and sales targets for successful conclusion of sales with clients.
Meet sales targets on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Consistently improve on product and service knowledge through regular engagement with internal Subject Matter experts, research and other learning platforms to present knowledgeable and factual information to clients.
Sourcing new business
Identify leads, new markets business opportunities and trendsetting ideas through research and interrogation of ESG demands, client reporting and requirements and new innovations within the industry.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts through utilising appropriate outsourcing tools and processes, and maintaining relevant information on prospect Clients
Provide Executive level representation at high level meetings with potential Clients
Representing the Company at relevant trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Reporting
Weekly progress reports on pipeline and activities to meet RFP / client objectives and requirements.
Provide monthly reports on pipeline (current & potential) business
Monthly and quarterly report on sales achieved by client, industry, revenue and profit.
