A reputable and established company in the Defence industry seeks an innovative and conscientious Business Developer who can broaden their local and international reach and succeed in growing their market share. As a Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving market share growth and sustain a sales pipeline, engaging with clients in a nurturing, yet strategic way. Analysis of the market to foresee trends is needed to identify opportunities and establish a network, internationally and within our borders. Collaboration internally, planning marketing initiatives, and attending industry related events, is what will drive building relationships and better understand clients' criteria, needs and obstacles to create effective and financially feasible solutions, while managing the project from initiation to delivery. As the face of the company, it is expected of you to create and present proposals and build client relationships effectively with strategic solutions, in collaboration with other teams.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Any)
  • Matric (With 7 distinctions, and an 85% percent pass rate)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Minimum 2 years work experience after studies
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams, manage expectations with clients and confidently present proposals
  • Identify and create business opportunities, by analysing local and international market trends
  • Networking, client engagement and maintaining relationships, by creating effective proposals and tactical solutions that are financially impactful and sustainable
  • Collaboration with the engineering team to meet custom requirements and specifications, for local and international clients
  • Contract preparation, while ensuring compliance within relevant legislation
  • Initiate, plan and implement projects, from start to finish, including aftercare
  • Willingness to travel and a valid passport
