- Management of the operational areas of the Locally Manufactured Medium- Voltage (LMMV) facility. These include Engineering, Manufacturing,- Materials Management, Quality, Service and Spares.- Key Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Prepare, monitor and control the Budget: particular focus on stock.- Management, Recoveries and Expenses. Lead IR interaction.- Lead the ISO9001 Quality Management System.- The total cost of quality to be within Budget.- Manage stock levels (Raw and WIP) to achieve both Operational and- Capital Employed objectives.- ERP software to be used for all core operational processes.- Drive Spares and Service sales to achieve Budget profitability.- Scope- LMMV Motors- LMMV Spares, Components and Service- Competency:
- Education/Qualification- Formal tertiary qualification in a Technical Field.- Formal tertiary qualification in Business Management- Experience:
- 10 years Management experience in the same or a similar function.- Electric Motor experience will be an advantage.- Computer:
- Familiar with MS Office.- Report writing.-
- Working knowledge of an ERP software package.- Personal:
- Results orientated with a focus on quality, on-time delivery and cost control.- Comfortable in dealing with all levels of personnel: from operator to senior management.- Perform under pressure.- Specific:
- Understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.- Lean Manufacturing methodology-
