We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Administrator to join our team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing using Pastel Payroll and ESS. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll administration within a high-volume environment and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll data for monthly runs using Pastel Payroll and ESS.
- Prepare and upload payroll data, adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
- Manage payroll queries via shared email, responding efficiently to employee inquiries.
- Maintain confidential payroll records in coordination with HR.
- Generate and provide payroll reports for management.
- Support HR with additional tasks related to BEE and Occupational Health & Safety.

- Grade 12
- Payroll or Accounting Certificate/Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of payroll administration experience, ideally within a BPO environment.
- Proficiency with Pastel Payroll and ESS.
- Understanding of local tax regulations, benefits, and deductions
- Familiarity with labor laws and company policies related to payroll, such as overtime calculations, bonuses, leave management, and retirement funds.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Volume payroll administration experience is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
