Job Description
Primary Objective: Our Client is looking for a Senior Sales Manager with an exemplary track record of closing successful sales. Senior Sales Lead will build upon his/her solid relationships and expand upon t footprint within the BFSI domain; ideally Treasury and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of navigating financial institutions and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly. Multiple years of exceeding quota at other sales organizations is a must. Experience in selling Treasury and Capital Markets Solutions is required.

- Sells and closes new sales opportunities across TCM in South Africa
- Solves unique and complex sales problems with a broad impact on the business; requires innovative thinking to develop sales solutions and influence the positioning of our Client overall within the marketplace.
- Anticipates market and/or regulatory changes; provides market intelligence and the insights needed to anticipate competitor actions with our Client’s impact in the TCM vertical.
- Anticipates market and/or regulatory changes; provides market intelligence and the insights needed to anticipate competitor actions and changing industry dynamics. Identifies opportunities across the accounts/prospects and across all our Client products in Treasury and Capital Markets.
- Co-operates with colleagues; leads accounts and prospects of such significance that the role requires ability to manage cross-functional relationships and resources.
- Leverages product or service expertise to meet and anticipate complex client needs and develop new offerings that may be needed in the future.
- Has a comprehensive set of relationships with decision makers in target prospects and the market with the most challenging or complex selling situations.

Territory/Account Complexity

- Manages one or several existing large and most important accounts or prospects that make up a significant percentage of the organization’s revenue in the relevant region
- Manages accounts of significant enterprise-wide risk or complexity

Qualifications

- 10+ years of professional experience gained from Fintech companies or experience in enterprise software or Saa S Fin Tech solutions. Knowledge of Treasury and Capital Markets vertical is mandatory.
- Successful track record of generating revenue through selling large scale treasury and capital markets software products into the target market.
- Deep understanding of South African business landscape and BFSI contacts at senior level throughout.
- Demonstrated Experience and ability to interact, deliver presentations and operate with C-level executives of Tier 1 Global Banks, Capital Market institutions, and Partner Firms.
- A respected name in the international / African banking community and services and consulting.
- Able to work with variety of people from different backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline or equivalent experience.
