Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the human resources functions within a fast-paced financial Services Group & investment company. The role requires a well-rounded HR professional with a strong background in organizational development, change management, performance management, and experience within the finance sector beneficial. The HR / People Manager will lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, wellbeing, training and development, and foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Drive organizational development and transformation initiatives.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with EE and BBBEE regulations.
3. Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance and training for managers on performance management best practices.
4. Employee Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and well-being.
5. Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs and create learning programs for employees.
- Oversee leadership development initiatives to build a strong management pipeline.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage payroll, employee benefits, and incentives.
- Conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable remuneration.
7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and industry regulations.
- Mitigate risks related to employment practices and maintain ethical standards.
8. HR Systems and Reporting:
- Oversee HR systems and data management.
- Provide regular HR metrics and analytics to guide decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, SABPP) is advantageous.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 3–8 years of experience in HR management.
- Proven track record in implementing HR strategies and managing diverse teams.
3. Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
