Introduction

MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available: Student Advisor - Cape Town.

The position entails the following job responsibilities:

1. Providing the necessary guidance on suitable higher education programmes to the student as well persuading the student to enrol at MANCOSA to pursue their studies.

2. An understanding of the available programmes at MANCOSA.

3. Achievement of sales targets per enrolment cycle.

4. Ability to understand and manage the lead and application funnel to ensure maximum conversion to student registrations.

5. Respond to each enquiry received on the programme offering at MANCOSA.

6. Understand the enrolment process, the policies and guidelines that pertain to the enrolment of students.

7. Regularly make follow-up calls on leads and applications.

8. Provide excellent customer service to the student.

9. Prepare and submit required documentation for registration and administration of the students.

Qualifications:

Experience:

1. Minimum 1-2 years experience within a sales environment and a proven track record of sales target achievement.

2. Compulsory to possess an understanding of the sales process and achieve the sales targets.

3. An understanding of higher education is an advantage.

2. Institutional and industry knowledge/understanding.

3. Student recruitment policies and procedures.

Proactive.

Additional Requirements:

Required to work during the weekends and overtime.
