Job Title: Travel Consultant

Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for designing and selling unique and high-quality African travel itineraries to discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences and design bespoke itineraries that meet their needs.
  • Manage bookings and relationships with suppliers, partners, and partner guides to ensure seamless travel experiences.
  • Work closely with our operations team to manage client relationships from confirmation to post-travel.
  • Utilize our in-house itinerary builder software, project management tools, and accounting platforms to streamline the sales process.
Requirements:
  • Formal travel and tourism qualification or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a travel consultant role, with a proven track record of selling high-end travel experiences in Southern and East Africa.
  • Passion for the safari and travel industry, with a strong understanding of the high-end travel market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to travel and conduct research on new locations, properties, and experiences.
