We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with tour operators, designing exclusive travel experiences, and overseeing the execution of guest itineraries.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with tour operators to ensure seamless execution of travel programs.
  • Design and tailor-make travel experiences that meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients.
  • Prepare and manage travel documents and administrative processes to ensure efficient and effective travel operations.
  • Oversee and manage guest itineraries to ensure successful execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and interact with other providers to ensure high standards of service and quality.
  • Book and supervise tour guides and drivers to ensure safe and enjoyable travel experiences for our clients.
  • Provide consultation and information to clients regarding travel and tourism products and services.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering high levels of satisfaction.
  • Good judgment and adept use of travel research and technologies to design and deliver exceptional travel experiences.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English, with the ability to provide efficient and effective customer service.
  • Proven ability to work independently and handle bookings unsupervised.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly during the initial training period.
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability for emergency phone duty.
