Strategic Relationship Manager

The Recruitment Council is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Platform Relationship Manager. This position plays a critical part in fostering strategic relationships with local and offshore fund managers, stockbrokers, and Discretionary Fund Managers (DFMs) from a Wealth platform perspective.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with asset managers, ensuring alignment with the Wealth strategy and maximizing opportunities for all stakeholders.
- Drive the execution of the overall fund strategy on the platform, including clean class availability, fund closure, negotiations on fund pricing and rebates, and relationship management with Morningstar and other data providers.
- Coordinate investment due diligence for new partners and operational due diligence for new investment components, ensuring timely turn-around and accuracy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external asset managers, handling trading and pricing enquiries, contract-level enquiries, and representing the Wealth business at Asset Management forums and events.
- Oversee the accuracy of fund management data on the platform, working closely with the fund administration team.
- Promote growth through the Deal Forum by sourcing and evaluating deals, structuring, implementation, and stakeholder management.
