Operations and Financial Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Financial Coordinator to join our team at Hewitt Colenbrander Recruitment / HC Recruit.
About the RoleThis is a key position that requires strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing petty cash transactions, preparing and submitting purchase orders, handling payment requisitions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
The Operations and Financial Coordinator will be responsible for managing petty cash transactions, including processing payments and reconciling accounts. This involves maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Purchase Orders and RequisitionsThe coordinator will prepare and submit purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. They will also handle payment requisitions, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained before processing payments.
Administrative SupportThe Operations and Financial Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the team, including responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Record KeepingThe coordinator will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including petty cash and purchase orders.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education
A degree in accounting or a related field is required. A certification in bookkeeping or accounting would be advantageous.
ExperienceA minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a recruitment agency or similar industry.
SkillsThe Operations and Financial Coordinator should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Estimated Salary$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
