About the Role:

Our client, a prominent Housing Estate, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of the estate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background and the ability to manage financial functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the estate's financial operating plan and strategy.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and financial operations systems.
  • Provide financial guidance to the Board of Directors and senior management.
  • Manage income statements, balance sheets, budgets, and reserves.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards for Non-Profit Companies.
  • Prepare management reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits.
  • Manage assets and review financial risk management reports.

Requirements:

  • Formal accounting qualification.
  • Professional accounting body registration.
  • Experience with IT contingency planning and business continuity.
  • 5-7 years' of financial management experience.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
