Complaint Resolution Expert

Ziyana Group is looking for a skilled Complaint Resolution Expert to join their performance-driven team. If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply.
Job Description:
- Receive and review investigation files to identify areas requiring further examination.
- Request additional information from parties involved in complaints as necessary.
- Determine the need for expert reports in relevant matters.
- Negotiate with parties regarding administrative aspects of file/investigation.
- E nsure procedural fairness standards are met.
- Record all complaints allocated, including correspondence, proof of service, calls, emails, etc.
- Capture and process all information on the OPFA case management system.
- Prepare high-quality draft determinations within set timelines according to daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Review and correct drafts submitted by colleagues.
- Identify out-of-jurisdiction matters accurately.
- Draft settlement and out-of-jurisdiction letters for approval by the Team Leader.
- Assist with projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
- Submit weekly and monthly statistics to the Team Leader.
- Prepare records for the Financial Services Tribunal or High Court.
Requirements
Qualifications: A law degree (BCom Law, BA Law, or LLB) is required.
Experience: Previous experience in the retirement funds industry - administration, management, or regulation is essential.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks.
Skills: Ability to assess and investigate facts, interpret legislation, and create legal documents.
Research and analysis skills.
Familiarity with the financial service sector will be an advantage.
Knowledge and understanding of the Pension Funds Act and the role of the Pension Funds Adjudicator.
