The role of Strategic Insurance Relationship Manager is crucial in driving the success of our insurance business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and administering allocated supplier relationships, providing technical assistance/support to RAs, and overseeing policy management systems and process management.
Key Responsibilities- Management and administration of suppliers, including ensuring compliance with the NI Governance framework and maximizing synergies between NI and approved suppliers.
- Arbitration and problem resolution, including monthly performance and operational reviews (including SLA monitoring) and management and oversight of supplier service levels.
- Appointment of new suppliers and the addition of new products when required, in accordance with the NI onboarding process.
In this role, you will also assist and support RAs in terms of cover structuring and supplier selection, complex placements, and cover/terms/rates negotiations with suppliers. Additionally, you will provide assistance in structuring new business/renewal presentations and manage and administer supplier contracts in accordance with the NI contract management and vendor matrix process.
Technical Skills and Qualifications- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees.
- FAIS representative (RE 5) and FAIS key individual (RE 1).
- AIISA/FIISA and/or B Degree.
You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 8 years in commercial/corporate segments in the insurance industry, and experience in intermediary industry min 5 years. You should also possess relevant regulatory knowledge and have excellent communication skills.
