About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our team in managing service providers for EMS, Auto & Home Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance or emergency dispatch environments and excellent geographical knowledge of South Africa and Africa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and extend the panel of service providers for EMS, Auto & Home Services
  • Negotiate and manage rates/outcomes with service providers
  • Advise management on related processes, procedures, and protocols
  • Produce required statistics and reports
  • Understand and interpret statistics, reports, products, and SLA with clients
  • Ensure department policies and procedures are updated
  • Assist staff with Service Provider complaints
  • Track and report monthly KPIs
  • Manage digital platforms and engagements with providers
  • Perform training and host roadshows nationally
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years working experience at a manager level within an emergency dispatch environment or insurance related environment
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of South Africa and Africa
  • Understanding of service provider services within the company's business environment
  • Ability to manage own time
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Articulate in English/Afrikaans (ethnic languages an advantage)
What We Offer

This is a competitive role with a salary range of R550,000 - R700,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits that include health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
