Business Development Executive: Driving Sales Growth

As a seasoned External B2B Sales professional, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with key decision-makers. Your passion for forging business connections and your ability to craft compelling sales strategies will make you a valuable asset to our team.
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Business Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will:
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with corporate clients
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers
- Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Present and persuade, delivering compelling presentations to stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in B2B sales, with a knack for closing deals and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving goals and overcoming challenges
- Comfort with CRM systems, MS Office, and the latest sales tools and technologies
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Minimum Requirements:
Please note that the following qualifications are required:
- Minimum of 4 years external commercial sales and new business development experience in a corporate environment
- Minimum of 2 years solutions sales experience
- Established corporate client network
- Strong cold calling and pipeline growth background, with actual figures to compare
- Strong closing ratios
- Completed Matric
- Valid driver's license
- Tech and software solution savvy
