Director of Global Human Resources

The Legends Agency seeks a highly experienced Director of Global Human Resources to lead and oversee the HR function at a global level. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, while driving key strategic projects, performance improvement initiatives, and succession planning.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- HR Operations Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of HR processes across multiple locations.
- Oversee the HR Team: Provide guidance, leadership, and support to ensure consistent and high-quality HR service delivery.
- Handle Operational HR Issues: Manage employee relations, policy enforcement, employee engagement, and legal compliance.
- Ensure Accurate Management of HR Data: Maintain accurate records across global offices.
**Strategic HR Leadership:**
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Drive strategic HR initiatives that align with our growth and global expansion.
- Manage Talent Acquisition: Work in partnership with the Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies.
- Lead Performance Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) to drive organizational performance and culture change.
- Implement HR Projects: Design and execute HR projects, including organizational development, leadership development, and succession planning.
**Employee Relations & Performance Management:**
- Manage Employee Relations: Resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers and staff on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and legal compliance.
- Design Performance Management Systems: Ensure alignment with company goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Streamline HR Processes: Explore HR technology systems to enhance data reporting and improve employee experience.
**Business Partnering & Global HR Management:**
- Act as HR Business Partner: Ensure HR strategies and initiatives align with business objectives.
- Provide HR Guidance: Offer HR leadership and guidance to key business units, aligning talent management with organizational needs.
- Leverage Global HR Knowledge: Manage and scale HR initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring consistency while accommodating local variations.
**Requirements:**
- Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong Background in Strategic HR Management: Proven experience in managing global HR operations, employee relations, talent development, succession planning, and performance improvement.
- Familiarity with HR Technology Systems: Experience with HR technology systems and data management and performance management tools.
- Knowledge:
- Strong Understanding of Global HR Best Practices: Compliance, and employee laws.
- Expertise in Succession Planning: Leadership development, and talent management strategies.
- Skills:
- Exceptional Leadership and People Management Skills: Ability to inspire, develop, and motivate teams.
- Strong Business Acumen: Ability to partner effectively with senior leadership on strategic HR decisions.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.

Estimated salary range: R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience.
