The company Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled HR Manager to report to the Managing Director. This role will be responsible for managing HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and staff wellness.

Key Performance Areas:

  • HR Advisory Services
    • Provide HR advice and support to line managers and staff on HR functions and services to ensure consistency with relevant legislation and company HR policy and procedure.
  • Project Management
    • Undertake specific projects to facilitate HR activities and enhance client service, working closely with line management.
  • Employment Equity and Compliance
    • Ensure legal compliance relating to the Employment Equity Act through proper analysis of company demographics and submission of annual reports to the Department of Labour.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics
    • Provide timely and relevant HR management information to support business decision-making.
  • Talent Management
    • Deliver high-quality staffing solutions, ensuring the business unit has the necessary skills and expertise.
    • Implement the full performance management cycle, including behavioral assessments.
  • Employee Engagement and Feedback
    • Drive the values and creation of a great working environment at departmental level, promoting employee engagement and feedback in line with the company's vision to be an employer of choice.
  • Organizational Development
    • Help identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
    • Implement Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection) at business unit level.
  • Employee Relations and Dispute Resolution
    • Handle employee relations and dispute resolutions, including CCMA/Labour court matters, in area of responsibility.
  • Forecasting and Planning
    • Support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with business unit strategy.
  • HR Systems and Administration
    • Administer skills/HR audit processes to identify the skills needs of the organisation and report on it.
    • Ensure legal compliance relating to the Health and Safety Act through administering internal processes.
    • Overall control of local payroll, including providing monthly provisional journals and recon payroll accounts.

Minimum Requirements for this role:

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification.
  • MAP or similar Management Development Program will be advantageous.
  • Labour Law, payroll and MEIBC industry experience is essential.
  • Understanding of Performance Management, improvement and change processes.
  • Working knowledge of HR Systems.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar HR role(s).
  • Knowledge of the BEE Act and Code and Worked on a BEE system (BEE123/ Empowered/Transcend).
  • Knowledge of BCEA, Employment Equity, Labour Relations Act and Skills Development Acts.
  • Knowledge of career development methodologies.
