We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner - Talent Development Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by developing and implementing strategic HR projects that drive business results.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge, skill, and competence in attracting, sourcing, developing, engaging, and retaining talent pools. They will partner with key stakeholders to build a competent workforce, conceptualize, manage, and implement strategic HR projects based on local and global best practices adapted to meet Business Unit requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering on HR strategy and tactical plans to enhance employee retention
  • BUILDING AN EFFECTIVE TALENT PIPELINE TO STRENGTHEN SUCCESSION THROUGH THE TALENT STRATEGY PLAN
  • ANALYZING TRENDS WITHIN THE BROAD LABOUR MARKET AND CUSTOMISING SUITABLE STAFFING SOLUTIONS TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS UNITS
  • DRIVING THE RECRUITMENT NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS AND PARTNERING WITH THE TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST IN THE SOURCING OF CANDIDATES
  • MANAGING THE INTEGRATION OF THE TALENT FRAMEWORK OF THE BUSINESS
  • CONDUCTING INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL TREND ANALYSIS AND PROVIDING BUSINESS WITH TALENT INSIGHTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant HR-related qualification
  • 4-5 years' experience in an HR generalist capacity
  • SOUND LABOUR RELATIONS EXPERIENCE
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • RETAIL EXPERIENCE
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AT SNR MANAGEMENT LEVEL

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
