To be responsible for the overall governance of the full learning cycle encompassing the analysis of learning needs and the design of blended learning solutions aligned to the business strategy.

- Maintain governance through accurate learning administration & reporting

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality assure learning needs analysis and design and development for sign-off for deployment
- Analyse Learning needs
- Review learning content
- Engage stakeholders to define target audience type/categories for targeted learning programme design
- Understand knowledge and competencies that should be and/or assumed to be in place
- Design and develop appropriate learning solutions aligned to Business Strategy
- Quality assures the full learning cycle
- Provide Business with suitable learning reports
- Analyse business requirements, identify and report on trends to inform group learning strategy
- Update and maintain project schedules of all new and existing learning interventions
- Implement best-in-class practices related to functional areas.
- Develop and maintain governance, policy framework, and processes with regard to the full learning cycle
- Guide the business by defining and implementing the Learning Plan that lays the foundation for achieving the business strategy
- Engage with a business partner to understand and confirm business requirements, goals, performance, and desired competencies in order to guide, design, and assess competencies
- Quality assures learning design solutions and sign-off before delivery
- Guide the generation of appropriate learning solutions as per the agreed learning methodology
- Analyse and design competencies that inform learning solutions proposed
- Manage own personal development through performance management, IDP, and talent management processes. Request training and feedback on performance and strive to improve based on these interventions
- Keep abreast with national and international L and D best practices and legislative requirements.
- Facilitating the implementation of the Learning Strategy
- Development and maintenance of Learning Governance and Legislation requirements
- Build an effective network of external vendors and contractors to supplement the internal resource base
- Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relations, as well as maintain inter-departmental relations

A little about who you are:
Qualifications & Experience:

- HR-related Degree (OD-ETDP qualification is advantageous with a core focus on Instructional Design principles)
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an L and D environment
- At least 8yrs experience in an HR environment
- Strong Project Management capabilities
