Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, providing them with packaging solutions and attending to customer complaints effectively. They will also prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts against budget, meeting monthly and annual sales targets in line with company strategy and targeted business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers personally and professionally, understand their businesses and provide them with effective solutions.
- Sales and Sales Growth: Prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts, meet monthly and annual sales targets, source new business and grow sales in line with company strategy and targeted business opportunities.
- Administration: Prepare monthly sales reports, analyse and comment on variances, manage price increases with customers effectively, ensure that price tables are done timeously and correctly and customer surveys are completed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 2-3 years sales experience, a minimum Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous), a proven track record in sales, an ability to prepare budgets and targets, an understanding of the plastics/packaging industry would be advantageous and FMCG sales experience is essential. You will also need to have computer literacy (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT) and a valid driver's license.
Requirements:- Minimum 2-3 years sales experience.
- Minimum Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous).
- Proven track record in sales.
- Able to prepare budgets and targets.
- Understanding of the plastics/packaging industry would be advantageous.
- FMCQ sales experience is essential.
