**Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job**:
Support the achievement of business goals through planning and managing the provision of HR services, policies, and programs on a local level. Reports to the Regional Senior HR manager

**Studies-Experience**:

- HR Degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Excellent technical HR knowledge through generalist and HRBP experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience within the same role
- Good knowledge of local Labor Law

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to Motivate others with their infectious enthusiasm and "can do" attitude, using positive language that inspires.
- Understands the diversity of customers in order to modify organizational and behavioral approach to achieve the best fit.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills, including influencing and ability to encourage innovation.
- Able to act and decide responsible with respect to the company strategy
- Ability to advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Employee Relations: Confidently consults and advises managers and employees on all aspects of employee-related issues, including manager/employee issues, policies & procedures, misconduct, investigations, terminations, reorganizations.
- Compensation & Benefits: Advise and support managers on local and global compensation and benefits initiatives. Support managers to assist with the management of leavers, disabilities, and Worker’s
- Liaise with Finance Department to ensure payroll runs smoothly.
- Administration : manage the employee contract, creation, tracking worker (payroll changes, job codes, function, termination,...) in the HR software.
- Training: Understand the training/development needs of organization and act as liaison within the Africa Region to secure appropriate training.
- Recruitment: main contact for the Africa Region recruitment from interview to induction.
- Management of local HR Initiative
- HR Reporting : Track and report staffing, retention, attrition, and other necessary data to monitoring the HR data and build strategy with the Africa Region HR

**Scope and Resources Accountability, typical Performance Indicators**:

- Scope and Resources Accountability: Number of employees/complexity of group(s) supported, direct/functional reports.
- Financial Indicators (revenue, budget, etc.)
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Performed PMP’s in time, employee turnover
- Key Contacts (internal / external) and Interfaces: Area Business Manager, General Manager, CFO, All managers and employees of area covered, social partners and employee representatives

**Salary**: R45,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
