  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective contract management and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising from contracts and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities

The Senior Contract Management Leader will be responsible for:

  1. Managing CAPEX contracts and procurement processes.
  2. Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines for contract management.
  3. Providing input into departmental budgets and operational plans.
  4. Compiling reports and statistics on contract management performance.
Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • A degree in quantity surveying or law, with a minimum of 18 years' experience, 8 of which must be at managerial level.
  • Registration as a professional quantity surveyor or arbitrator with Arbitration SA in construction contracts.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, MFMA/PPFA, and construction and contract law.
  • A valid driver's license.
