Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to oversee the portfolio of construction, supply, and installation contracts for renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will ensure effective management throughout the awarding, execution, and economic and contractual closure phases of contracts, while protecting the company's interests and minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Oversee the portfolio of contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers from the award stage through to project execution and closure phases.
  • Contract Review: Evaluate contracts during the award phase to ensure compliance with company policies, technical and legal standards, and project needs.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements, EPC,FIDIC and JBCC contracts , and other project-related agreements and permits.
  • Contract Analysis: Interpret various contract clauses and conditions, monitoring compliance to safeguard the company's interests.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide contractual support to various departments, helping teams navigate adverse circumstances and mitigate risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, finance, and legal teams to achieve project deliverables.
  • Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with local and international contractors and suppliers, ensuring optimal project execution and successful contractual closure.
  • Project Monitoring: Actively monitor project progress, attend meetings, conduct site visits, and manage contractual communications to avoid potential disputes.
  • Documentation: Manage and draft contractual communications to formalize notifications and agreements, ensuring a comprehensive documentary record.
  • Milestone Supervision: Ensure adherence to contractual milestones from initiation to closure, managing advance payments, performance, and warranty bonds.
  • Training and Compliance: Provide contractual training to teams involved in projects, ensuring adherence to established procedures and contract-related milestones.
