Sales and Business Development Professional

At Somewhere, we are looking for a highly skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for representing our company's products and services, leading consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs, generating leads and building relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets, managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging executives for next steps, identifying best practices to refine the company's lead generation playbook, utilizing CRM tools, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities, building long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities, and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent our company's products and services in a professional and effective manner.
- Lead consumer research to understand how our solutions meet the needs of our target market.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage executives for next steps.
- Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation playbook.
- Utilize CRM tools, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Candidates should possess some form of professional experience within the US or Canadian markets, demonstrating an understanding of the business environment and cultural nuances pertinent to these regions.
- A background in accounting or finance is highly desirable but not required.
- The successful completion of a 3 or 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
- A proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- A strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools, Google Suite, and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Requires minimal supervision.
