About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Professional to join our team at Dimension Data. As a Sales Development Professional, you will be responsible for generating sales and revenue through all channels. You will also support the development of new business opportunities in order to generate additional revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, plan and implement strategies for sales force development
- Set strategic direction in the sales organization by creating a balanced approach to selling products or services
- Develop and manage a qualified sales force by training, recruiting, motivating, evaluating and promoting sales professionals
- Monitor and influence the performance of the sales force using results from sales and marketing efforts
Requirements
- Current Sales Professional License or current CPR Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required
- Experience with online and physical retail, including e-commerce with a focus on product development and sales; experience in HubSpot a plus
- Proven track record of success with the following skills: prospecting, customer service, developing and maintaining relationships with prospects and clients, identifying opportunities for marketing/advertising, negotiating and closing deals
