Data Centre Regional Manager

Future Africa Consulting (Pty)Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Regional Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Optimization: Formulate and deploy the operation and maintenance guarantee plan for the data center infrastructure operation and maintenance system.
- Team Management: Fully manage and deploy all personnel of facilities and equipment, check the quality and efficiency of maintenance work of subordinate employees, and correct problems in time.
- Power Equipment Safety: Ensure the safe operation of power equipment and the integrity of facilities, achieve the best comprehensive equipment efficiency with the most economical equipment life cycle cost.
- Reporting and Tracking: Responsible for the reporting and tracking of major events, and responsible for the organization, review and implementation of major changes.
- Power Guarantee Facilities: Be familiar with and master the current status of all power guarantee facilities at the project site and the power requirements of each computer room.
- Preventive Maintenance: Formulate preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance plans for all power guarantee facilities to ensure the safe operation of the data center.
- Power Facility Operation: Review and revise the operation of various power facilities, operation instructions and various plans according to the power guarantee needs of the data center.
- Emergency Plans: Formulate and review emergency plans for data centers and conduct regular drills to ensure the safety of data center operations.
- Team Development: Responsible for managing the infrastructure operation and maintenance team, continuously training and assessing, and ensuring that team members meet the job competency requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or above, graduated from electricity, HVAC, automation and other related majors.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure construction or operation and maintenance management.
- Skills: Familiar with the operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure, and can adjust, repair, troubleshoot and modify the room system. Safety assessment and review capabilities of the transformation plan.
- Knowledge: Familiar with the professional knowledge of data center power system, HVAC system, decoration, fire protection, security, etc.
- Management Experience: Strong management experience and strong communication and coordination skills.
- Team Spirit: Have a strong team spirit.
- ISO/IEC20000-1: Proficient in ISO/IEC20000-1 service management system.
- Adaptability: Able to adapt to frequent short-term business trips.
- Communication Skills: Have good written and oral expression and communication and coordination skills, good problem analysis and problem-solving skills, and strong execution ability.
