Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day site facility activities, ensuring operational effectiveness with minimal disruption to ongoing working staff.

This role requires effective management of vendor relationships, financial administration, and purchase order development. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project quotations, general ledger analysis, and basic project administration.

The Facilities Officer will conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with Health and Safety Act and National Building Regulations, and manage cleaning routines. They will also coordinate repairs and replacements of office equipment, assist with office reticulation projects, and supervise outsourced facilities functions.

This position involves liaising with internal and external suppliers, resolving conflicts, and escalating contractor performance issues to the line manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accuracy and completeness of information submitted to management on projects, developing and maintaining a sound understanding of policies and procedures, and reducing turnaround time to deliver projects within cost and quality.

They will also compile and submit reports, conduct quality checks, review and approve contractor documentation, and maintain records of permits, leases, and correspondence.

The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills, oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high working standards.
