This role will be responsible for providing proactive and efficient HR services to employees and managers across the region. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse teams, managing complex queries, and delivering excellent support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the People Partners and Centres of Excellence to roll out key initiatives and drive business strategy. They will also be responsible for monitoring employee feedback, building knowledge of employees' objectives and business processes, and coaching managers on staffing issues.

About the Role:

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Be the dedicated regional point of contact for employees and managers across OLIVER Agency within South Africa and the Middle East.
  • Support and advise stakeholders on people issues, ensuring they understand the impact on individuals and the business.
  • Monitor monthly Peakon employee feedback and work closely with stakeholders to drive engagement, development, and support.
  • Build and maintain an excellent knowledge of employees, objectives, and business processes.
  • Coaching and supporting managers on staffing issues, including performance management, sickness, absence, grievances, probationary reviews, and capability.
  • Plan and execute all change management elements of restructuring, redundancy, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support the bi-annual salary review process.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of employment law across EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Actively identify gaps and propose changes to process and procedure to ensure a great employee experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HR generalist, working across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA.
  • Experience dealing with end-to-end employee relations issues, such as change management, disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, etc.
  • Proactive approach to improving and providing effective and efficient support of all HR activities.
  • Excellent attention to detail while working under pressure and managing high volumes.
  • High levels of tenacity and a delivery-focused approach.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, push back, ask questions, and be comfortable in environments of change.
  • Highly organized with a natural ability to prioritize.
  • Aptitude for working in a global team and navigating complexity.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including country-specific Managing Partners and People team Centres of Excellence.
