Solar Energy Sales Specialist

Identify and onboard potential partners through scouting visits and phone calls, driving new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by targeting potential residential and commercial solar energy customers, providing tailored solutions to meet their energy needs.
Conduct site assessments and offer expert advice on system design, sizing, and installation options, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to prospective customers, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation, driving project success and customer satisfaction.
Stay up to date on solar industry trends, policies, and incentives to provide accurate and informed information to customers.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, driving business growth and revenue.
Project ManagementEnsure CRM data is up to date and project forecasting is accurate, enabling data-driven decision making.
Manage and coordinate large projects until completion, serving as the central point of contact for the business partner and internal departments.
Regularly review and update the project schedule to identify potential delays and take corrective actions to prevent schedule slippage.
Customer Relationship ManagementMaintain a well-organised sales pipeline, tracking leads at various stages and updating the status of opportunities regularly on the CRM.
Communicate customer needs to all relevant departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Work with the Commercial Manager to ensure all key customers have valid and signed agreements, and discount schedules are accurate and up to date.
Marketing and TrainingRepresent the company within industry bodies and be an active member of the renewable energy community.
Organize monthly training events in your region, promoting knowledge sharing and industry growth.
Organize and attend joint training and trade events with customers, fostering partnerships and driving business development.
RequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in a relevant field.
Sales courses or diploma, with continuous development in solar PV technologies.
3 years' experience in Key Accounts Management and solar PV technologies.
