**Job Purpose**

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver effective teaching and facilitation on qualifications and all associated academic activities that promote student success and learning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach and facilitate lectures on various subjects related to Applied Humanities and Commerce
  • Mark and assess student work to ensure academic integrity
  • Provide student support and guidance to promote academic success

**Competencies Required:**

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • A Master's degree in one of the Applied Humanities or Commerce fields with a focus on innovation, development economics, or social entrepreneurship
  • Alternatively, a relevant NQF 8 qualification in a related field with similar modules in undergraduate studies

**Minimum Work Experience:**

  • Industry experience in Applied Humanities or Commerce
  • Lecturing experience in a higher education setting

**Working Conditions:**

  • This is an independent contractor role

  • Position is part-time
